Kicksled Event in Geilo

Saturday 25 January 2025!

The last weekend in January, the Kicksled World Championship is held in Geilo. This is a unique and social event that has existed since 1982, and which has now become a beloved winter carnival and a folk festival, for both young and old!

There are mainly two classes for adults and an after party, but also a separate Kicksled World Championship for children.

Kicksled World Championship is an event that takes place in the city centre, and it is free for spectators. Stands are arranged in the pedestrian street, we recommend bringing warm clothes.
